A rapidly growing global distributor in the technology sector is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Coordinator to join its finance team in San Antonio, TX
This hybrid role offers a blend of remote work and in-office collaboration, providing flexibility while supporting team cohesion
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with accounts payable processes and a solid understanding of GAAP accrual accounting, contributing to accurate and efficient financial operations. **This position will also involve occasional international travel to support global operations.**
Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Coordinator:
- Verify invoices for accuracy and compliance prior to posting.
- Process payments accurately and promptly.
- Maintain organized and accurate records of accounts payable activities.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Respond effectively to vendor inquiries and provide timely support.
- Assist with month-end closing, including posting accruals and prepaid invoices.
- Develop and maintain an organized filing system for accounts payable documentation.
- Support the accounts payable department with administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications of the Accounts Payable Coordinator:
- 3+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP accrual accounting principles.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in verifying and processing invoices.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with vendors and team members.
- Ability to establish and maintain efficient filing systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Familiarity with accruals, prepaids, and month-end processes.
- Experience with NetSuite or similar accounting software.
Work Environment for the Accounts Payable Coordinator:
- Hybrid - Remote (San Antonio, TX)
- Occasional international travel required.
