General Responsibilities:
Provide archaeological services for a broad array of projects and clients. This may include conducting field work, identifying artifacts, laboratory analysis, writing reports, preparing proposals, and consulting with clients and stakeholders.

Essential Functions and Duties:
  • Conduct fieldwork including survey, testing, and data recovery projects
  • Preparing reports
  • Assisting with laboratory analyses
  • Consulting with federal and state agencies, tribal groups, and other stakeholders
  • Making National Register recommendations
  • Providing guidance and mentoring to more junior-level staff
Requirements/Preferences:
  • Master's degree or above (required)
  • Minimum of two years of experience in the Eastern U.S. (required)
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; ability to pass drug screening; and possess a valid U.S. driver's license with acceptable violation history (required)
  • Secretary of Interior qualified as an Archaeologist (preferred)
  • Register of Professional Archaeologist (RPA) (preferred)
  • Trained as a Historical Archaeologist (preferred)
