BlackStone Security Group is actively seeking professional security officers to provide coverage as needed in Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas.

We are in search of a highly skilled Armed Security Officer-FLEX to join our team. As an Armed Security Officer-FLEX, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. You will be required to work in a variety of settings, including commercial, industrial, and residential locations. Your primary goal will be to prevent and deter criminal activity, respond to emergencies, and provide exceptional customer service.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

Preferred Qualifications:

• NC Unarmed Security Guard Registration (PPSB)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in security and customer service industry
• Experience working in a college or university setting

Responsibilities:

• Patrol designated areas to detect and prevent criminal activity
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
• Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner

Skills:

As an Armed Security Officer-FLEX, you will utilize your strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner. You will also use your attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure to detect and prevent criminal activity. Additionally, your previous experience in law enforcement or military will be beneficial in responding to emergencies and investigating disturbances. Finally, your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be essential in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets.
