Job Summary
Corporate Crime Control Protective Services is seeking well qualified security officers to serve our clients with integrity and professionalism with both armed and unarmed positions. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to create a safe and secure environment. You will protect client premises, assets, and employees and prevent any illegal or inappropriate activities. The ideal candidate has experience with public safety and security and operates with a high degree of integrity at all times.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned locations and maintain a high level of visibility either on foot or operating a patrol vehicle
• Access control
• Exclude and remove trespassers when necessary
• Interact with the public in both emergency and non-emergency situations
• Contact and interact with local law enforcement, fire, or EMS
• Respond to reports of suspicious activity
• Report on daily activities and any security incidents

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Security Guard or in a similar position is preferred
• Valid Oregon DPSST Private Security License (Armed or Unarmed)
• High school diploma/GED
• Excellent written communication skills and report writing ability
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Work well under pressure and maintain composure during stressful situations
• High level of integrity and professionalism
• Attention to detail and strong observational skills
• Ability to work without direct supervision
• Be willing to work a variety of shift including weekends, nights and holidays
• Be able to stand for long periods of time without accommodations
