Job Description

The Village at Morrisons Cove, a Continuing Care Retirement Community is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality resident care in a skilled nursing home environment. The Nursing Assistant will assist patients with daily living activities and support nursing staff in delivering exceptional care to individuals with diverse needs.

_These positions are both full and part time. Daylight hours (1st shift). Every other weekend and holiday._

*Responsibilities*
* Provide direct resident care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support residents with dementia by providing compassionate care tailored to their needs.
* Assist residents with feeding when necessary
* Document patient information accurately using electronic health record systems like Cerner.
* Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients by following infection control protocols.

*Requirements*
* Previous experience in patient care is preferred, particularly in a nursing home setting.
* Experience working with older adults is a plus.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
* Must be able to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving patients as necessary.
* Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) is required

Pay: Up to $21.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 37.5 per week
