Commercial HVAC Service Technician at Sunstate Mechanical Services

Shift: Monday – Fridays 8am-4:30pm (Some Saturdays dependent on job site)

Hourly Rate: $32-45 (DOE)

Location: Office Location is 2507 W. Erie Dr., Suite 103 Tempe, AZ 85282. This job does require travelling across the greater Pheonix Area (sites will vary based on the job)

Requirements:

You must be 18 years old.

You must be elligable to work in the U.S

You must be able to pass a drug test.

You must be able to pass a motor vehicle history check.

For safety reasons, you must be able to speak English.

You must have your own tool kit.

A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required.

Able to lift up to 50lbs.

Job Duties:

As you might expect, HVAC installation and retrofitting is at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, you’ll be:

Installing and troubleshooting for rooftop units, Humidifiers, packaged Air Conditioners, Refrigerated Air Dryers, and control systems.

Working with Chillers, Cooling Towers, Hot Water/Steam Boilers, Condensers/Chilled Water Pumps and Exhaust Fans regularly.

Variable Frequency Drives, Computer Room AC Equipment, Air Handling/Fan Coil Units and Air Compressors will also be a big part of your workload.

Installing commercial units

Responsible for teaching apprentices

Additional duties as required
