Director of Business Development – Construction We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Business Development to join our client's team and lead efforts you must have public work experience with projects in 1 of the following sectors: government, higher education, or K-12. Key Responsibilities: Leverage your existing industry relationships to drive business development initiatives and secure projects. Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to craft compelling RFQs, including content creation as needed. Strategize and lead efforts on public and private bid processes, including Design-Build and CM at Risk projects. Maintain client relationships and represent the company at industry and trade events. Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities, focusing on high-value construction projects. What We’re Looking For: Established Network: Already entrenched in the K-12, community college, or higher education construction sectors in NC. Leadership Ready: Experience working under a BD leader at a large firm and now ready to lead your own efforts. Construction Expertise: Preferably from a contracting background, with familiarity in estimating or project management.
