A local growing organization is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead its accounting functions and provide strategic financial insights. This role requires strong technical skills, leadership capabilities, and a proactive approach to streamlining processes and ensuring operational excellence. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving efficiency, compliance, and long-term financial success across diverse business units.

The salary range will be $130,000 - $165,000 DOE along with phenomenal benefits package, clear opportunity for continued long-term growth, and a great team culture!

Primary Duties:

Accounting Management:

• Supervise daily accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across multiple business divisions.
• Conduct account reconciliations and review journal entries.
• Manage monthly closing processes and prepare consolidated financial reports.

Tax and Regulatory Oversight:

• Guarantee adherence to payroll, sales, and other taxation regulations within various jurisdictions.
• Coordinate audits and engage with external financial consultants.

Cash Flow Administration:

• Track and manage daily liquidity needs across all business units.
• Develop strong partnerships with financial institutions and oversee cash disbursement processes.

Operational Improvements:

• Establish and enforce internal policies and financial controls.
• Identify and implement strategies to optimize accounting workflows and operational systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
• 10+ years of relevant experience, with 5+ years in leadership.
• Expertise in multi-entity accounting and tax compliance.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
