Overview: We are seeking an imaginative and visionary Creative Director to lead the creative strategy and execution across the portfolio of parks, resorts and entertainment venues. As the Creative Director, you will spearhead the development of innovative concepts that bring the park’s brand to life across multiple touchpoints, including advertising campaigns, digital experiences, in-park activations, and more. You’ll lead a multidisciplinary team of designers, copywriters, and producers to create unforgettable guest experiences that resonate with audiences and drive results. Responsibilities: Creative Strategy and Leadership: Lead the creative vision for the theme park’s marketing and branding initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and brand identity. Concept Development: Oversee the creation of big ideas and compelling campaigns that capture the magic, excitement, and unique appeal of the theme park. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of designers, art directors, copywriters, and other creative professionals. Foster a collaborative and high-performing environment. Agency Collaboration: Work closely with the AOR and other various agency partners to synergize externally produced work with internal creative resources, and vice versa. Client Collaboration: Work closely with the theme park’s marketing and executive teams (our clients) to understand their objectives, provide strategic direction, and present creative concepts. Brand Stewardship: Ensure that all creative outputs are on-brand, consistent across channels, and aligned with the theme park’s visual identity and messaging. Integrated Campaigns: Lead the development of multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, social media, print, out-of-home, video, and in-park experiences. Creative Production: Oversee the production process for all creative deliverables, from concept to final execution, ensuring high-quality outputs that meet deadlines and budget requirements. Innovation and Trends: Stay ahead of industry trends and creative innovations, bringing fresh ideas and approaches to keep the theme park’s brand dynamic and engaging. Presentation and Selling: Confidently present ideas and campaign concepts to clients, articulating the creative vision and how it meets business objectives. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Design, Marketing, or a related field. 7+ years of creative experience in an agency, entertainment, hospitality, or theme park environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. A proven track record of developing and executing successful, high-impact creative campaigns across multiple channels. Strong leadership skills with experience managing and inspiring creative teams. Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities. Expert knowledge of brand strategy, creative direction, and production processes. Experience in the theme park, entertainment, or hospitality industry is highly desirable. Proficiency in creative tools like Adobe Creative Suite, as well as project management software. This role is ideal for a creative visionary who thrives in bringing big ideas to life and is passionate about delivering world-class experiences.
