Oxford Solutions has an openiing with our financial services client for a Director of Corporate Communications. This role is onsite in Pittsburgh, PA. This role is responsible for shaping and delivering the corporate narrative, enhancing brand reputation, and ensuring effective communication with employees and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in communications, public relations, and/or marketing, with a preference for experience in the financial services sector. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive external communication strategies that enhance the company's reputation, engage stakeholders, and effectively convey our brand message. Lead internal communication initiatives to foster employee engagement, ensure alignment with company goals, and maintain a cohesive corporate culture. Collaborate with finance and executive teams to assist in the coordination and communication of financial information, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and regulatory compliance. Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries, managing relationships with key media outlets, and ensuring consistent and favorable media coverage. Lead the development and execution of crisis communication plans to protect the company's reputation and effectively manage communication during challenging situations. Oversee the creation of compelling content for press releases, speeches, presentations, and other communication materials. Ensure that all communications are consistent with the company's brand voice and positioning. Requirements and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 5 to 10 years of experience in communications, public relations, and/or marketing with a preference for experience in the financial services industry. Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies across multiple channels. Strong writing, editing, and content development skills with a keen eye for detail. Experience with media relations, including managing press inquiries and crisis communication. Demonstrated leadership and team management skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership. Strong understanding of financial communication and regulatory requirements is a plus.
