Events Assistant Department: TMZ Events Employment Type: Full Time Location: New Jersey, NJ Compensation: $45,000 - $49,000 / year Description Job Description: As an Events Assistant at TMZ Events, you will play a key role in coordinating and executing successful events that leave a lasting impression. You will work closely with our event planning team to ensure smooth operations, from setup to execution. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities: Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of events from start to finish. Support logistical arrangements, including venue setup, vendor coordination, and event timelines. Communicate with clients to ensure their needs and expectations are met. Manage event materials, supplies, and equipment to ensure everything is in place for a seamless event. Provide on-site support during events, troubleshooting issues and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Assist with post-event tasks, including breakdown and event reporting. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful event execution and client satisfaction. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in event coordination or a similar role is a plus. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Willingness to work flexible hours when necessary.
