We're looking for a talented Frontend Developer with a strong eye for design to join our team. In this hybrid role, that will merge technical expertise with creative flair to deliver engaging, user-friendly, and high-performing web experiences. The right candidate needs to possess a mix of technical, creative, and interpersonal skills.
Expected Responsibilities
1. Design-Related Tasks:
UI/UX Enhancements: Improving the website's look and feel to enhance user experience (e.g., updating layouts, navigation, and visual elements).
Branding Updates: Refreshing logos, color schemes, fonts, and other branding elements to match current brand guidelines.
Graphic Creation: Designing banners, icons, images, or other visual elements for use on the website.
Responsive Design Adjustments: Ensuring the website looks good and functions correctly across various devices and screen sizes.
A/B Testing Design Elements: Experimenting with different layouts or graphics to optimize user engagement.
2. Development-Related Tasks:
Content Updates:
o Adding, editing, or removing pages.
o Updating product catalogs, blog posts, or other dynamic content.
Feature Development:
o Implementing new functionality, such as forms, search features, or integrations with third-party services.
o Adding plugins or custom code snippets to extend website functionality.
Bug Fixes:
o Addressing issues like broken links, slow-loading pages, or JavaScript errors.
o Fixing compatibility issues across browsers or devices.
Performance Optimization:
o Improving site speed through asset compression, lazy loading, or server-side optimizations.
Analytics and SEO Maintenance:
o Ensuring analytics tools like Google Analytics or Tag Manager are properly configured.
o Updating meta tags, alt text, and schema markup to maintain or improve SEO rankings.
3. Collaboration Tasks:
Stakeholder Communication: Coordinating with marketing, content, or business teams to align updates with organizational goals.
4. Long-Term Improvements:
Website Redesigns: Periodically reimagining the site to align with new business objectives or design trends.
Accessibility Updates: Ensuring the site complies with standards like WCAG to accommodate users with disabilities.
Testing and QA: Performing regular testing to maintain functionality after updates or before launching new features.
