What you’ll do…

We are looking to hire a detailed-oriented, driven, and resourceful Lead Generator Maintenance and Preservation Technician to assume responsibilities for multiple upkeep and service generators at our shop and storage location. A successful candidate must be willing to learn and understand maintenance on power generation equipment with operations experience a plus. The Lead Generator Maintenance and Preservation Technician will coordinate with the Shop Manager/Foreman to ensure Enchanted Rock can meet standard goals set by company. Must be able to communicate concerns or issues that may arise. Help maintain a clean and organized work area. Adhere to company safety policies and have basic computer skills. Follow and adhere to inventory procedure when parts are needed. This position will report directly to the Manger of Generator Preservation and is located in Houston, TX.

You’ll make an impact by:

· Manage and perform preventative maintenance of generator as needed.

· Be proficient at learning and utilizing manufacturer specific checklist set by Shop Manager and generator manufacturer.

· Oversee performed scheduled and preventive generator maintenance tasks.

· Lead and help perform inspections to identify maintenance needs.

· Work and lead in potentially confined areas of high heat and humidity, and cold.

· Follow company process and procedures for verbal and or written communications.

· Utilize all current technology for communication, documentation, and research.

· Manage and comply with all company and industry safety standards.

· Oversee and understand the oil, fuel, coolant treatment system

· Manage and use tools in a safe and practical manner.

· Demonstrate the ability to multitask and work unsupervised while leading other employees

· Assure that all information for generator work is put into Fieldpoint.

· Additional responsibilities may be added at the direction of Company’s management

You'll sweep us off our feet if you:

· Posess basic industrial knowledge

What you’ll need:

· Education Level – high school diploma or GED

· Experience with hand tools

· Entry level mechanical skills

· Physical requirements and working conditions: Must be able to work outdoors and able to stand and move about for sustained periods of time to accomplish tasks.
