Salary: $23-26/hour

At Integrated Water Services (IWS), WE MAKE WATER BETTER! For over 20 years, we've been providing our customers with solutions to manage drinking and wastewater to protect people and the environment. We serve clients ranging from real estate developers, governments, and food and beverage and industrial manufacturers and we're GROWING! 

As a member of a construction crew, you participate in the planning and construction of water and wastewater treatment plants. You work beside other craft workers to deliver a quality product in an efficient and timely manner. And you work together as a team to get it all done!

Location: This is a travelling position based in TX. Current job sites are in the Austin, TX region.

Responsibilities

• Perform general site grading and preparation
• Excavation, earth moving, and lifting using a variety of equipment
• Operating construction equipment as assigned
• Assist with placement of materials and equipment
• Participate in general construction activities while learning various trade skills
• Perform work safely, aware of surroundings, other work being performed, and other workers on the job site.
  

Qualifications

• General math abilities
• Minimum of 2 years' experience operating heavy machinery including a loader, skid steer and forklift 
• Construction experience with utilities or water/wastewater treatment preferred
• General construction safety and trench safety guidelines.
• General understanding of construction means and methods.

Base Wage: $23-26/hour* 

*The provided base wage range is used nationally. The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
