Job Description

An established, midsize, and highly respected law firm in the heart of Downtown Manhattan is seeking a Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. If you're passionate about immigration law and ready to contribute to a fast-paced, client-focused environment, this role is for you.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in:
  • Family-based petitions
  • Adjustment of status
  • Naturalization/citizenship applications
  • Consular processing
  • DACA and waiver applications
  • Experience in removal proceedings, cancellation of removal, asylum, and U visas is a plus
  • Fluency in Spanish is required

Job Description:

  • Conduct legal research and prepare documentation related to immigration cases.
  • Manage case files and maintain accurate records using legal case management systems.
  • Assist attorneys with drafting and reviewing legal documents and correspondence.
  • Communicate with clients, including Spanish-speaking individuals, to gather information and provide updates.
  • Ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations while supporting litigation efforts.
  • Organize and file documents efficiently, maintaining a well-structured office environment.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8-hour shifts

Location Requirement:

  • This is an in-person role based in New York, NY
  • Candidates must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate prior to starting
