The Position:

Stocks Office Furniture is seeking an Interior Designer that can become a part of our team! The position is responsible for assisting the client/end-user with determining, designing, and coordinating their space planning needs to achieve a professional, functional, and appealing look. The Interior Designer Representative works with clients and end-users to ensure the space in compliant with ADA regulations and best ergonomic practices. As necessary, the Interior Designer Representative may help coordinate installations, conduct walk-throughs, and solve issues that arise, including missing parts, damaged product, and changes made by contractors.

• Provide design services to dealership customers
• Perform site/inventory verifications
• Conduct space planning
• Establish typical development
• Work with color boards
• Create working/installation drawings, specifications and site-to-plan review
• Works closely with dealership customers
• Producing purchasing and installation groups to ensure accurate plans and specifications
• Adheres to conformance of client's requirements
• Provides quality customer satisfaction and project implementation

Qualifications:

Years of Experience: High School Diploma or 2 years of business, design experience

Education Completion of four year college degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

• Previous experience in interior design and/or furniture sales or other related fields
• Preferred familiarity with 2020 software, Revit, CET Designer, AutoCAD, Team Design or other design software
• Understands workplace environment issues (ergonomics, technology integration, teaming, etc.)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written, verbal, and computer communication skills
• Possess a working knowledge of applicable building codes, ADA regulations
• Preferably has a working knowledge of the dealership's contract furniture lines (Allsteel, HON, OFS)
