Job Description

You will be part of a team that is responsible for developing innovative hardware solutions and associated test platforms for ARM-based System-on-Chip (SoC) based products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Participate in design reviews, testing and test automation development
• Ability to be involved based on experience in projects from design to test and implementation stages.
• Conduct tests and record and analyze data obtained from those experiments, create acceptable documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of proposals and estimations.
• Assist in preparing equipment specifications.
• Review vendor information.
• Monitor testing of electronic systems.
• Validate prototypes based on published schematics.
• Validate prototypes based on published schematics
• Conduct pre-defined experiments related to testing or R&D based solutions.
• Create organized, detailed, and accurate reports.

Preferred Experience:

• Bachelor´s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electronic Engineering or equivalent from an accredited institution and 0 – 2 years’ experience.
• Understanding of basic circuit testing techniques and measurement and basic understanding of Schematics, Gerber files, etc.; as well as understanding BOM’s (Bill of Materials) and their relationship to hardware production manufacturing
• Strong basic level technical knowledge. Experience with practical applications a plus
• Baseline understanding of common IEEE standards
• Experience working with electronic test equipment and tools including logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
• Possess good organizational skills and a sense of urgency, passion and desire to learn as quickly as possible
• Basic working knowledge of LabView, MatLab and exposure to programming in C, C++, Java, BASH and/or Python is a plus
• Able to multitask in a fast paced environment and follow precise instructions
• Ability to solve different types of problems and think ‘out of the box’
• Experience with Cadence, Eagle CAD, Altium or other printed circuit board software packages.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
