Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and excellent driving skills.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to operate a standard transmission.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
• Safely load and unload cargo using forklifts or other equipment as necessary.
• Plan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road.
• Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
• Ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
• Proven experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of route driving.
• Familiarity with operating various types of trucks such as flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and refrigerated trailers is preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other loading equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
