SUMMARY The Massage Therapist will be responsible for providing exceptional massage therapy services and creating a relaxing experience for clients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Perform various massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage
• Assess client needs and recommend appropriate treatments
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of massage rooms
• Uphold professional standards and ethics at all times
• Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy

OTHER DUTIES

Assimilate into The Love.Life culture through understanding, supporting, and participating in all elements of company core values and tenets. Demonstrate working knowledge of the service standards.

Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Love.Life from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Attendance standard for salaried exempt team members is dedicating adequate time to fulfill the duties outlined in this job description equal to, or more than 40 hours per workweek.

Due to the cyclical nature of the industry, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the needs of the business.

This Massage Therapist must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to demonstrate they can perform the essential functions of the job, along with the physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED

• Certification or licensure in massage therapy
• 2+ years experience working as a massage therapist
