Dermatology Medical Assistant

Medical practice in Ballantyne seeking a Certified / Registered Medical Assistant to join their team. Temp to perm. Regular business hours, 8 am - 5 pm, M-F. Pay = $20 - 22/hour.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Room patients, take vitals, assist providers with minor procedures.
• Will take patients back to exam rooms and type up notes on the iPad during appointment
• Schedule surgeries, coordinate things quickly, must be able to interact with people at all levels.
• This is a very busy office; must be able to help out as needed if your provider is out.
• Will be cross-trained to help with front office duties and in other areas.

REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must be certified/registered - CMA or RMA.
• 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience within the same practice - strong tenure is important!
• Wants someone who is upbeat and enjoys a faster pace and busy practice
• Must be technically savvy with EMR.
