Responsibilities Under the supervision of the OR Scheduling Coordinator and/or Dir. of Physician Affairs, screen interview, counsel and provide direct patient care. Document all clinical observations, findings and services provided in the patient’s electronic medical record (EMR). Report all abnormal observations and findings to the appropriate medical provider in a timely manner verbally or via Skype. Schedule Endoscopy procedures Data entry Track pathology results Responsible for retrieving appropriate laboratory, diagnostic and radiology reports as requested. Assist in transporting paperwork, and other materials between sites when appropriate. Review Rx, Results and Office voice mail folders daily and the, Scheduling/ physician pools, daily for tasks, follow-ups as assigned. Communicate with clinical, clerical, and managerial staff to provide continuity of patient care. Qualifications Job Requirements: Associates, High School Diploma, or GED equivalent preferred 1-3 years of experience in ambulatory setting (emergency room, clinic or health center). Preferred Job Requirements: Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant/Medical Technologist school/program and holds a valid Certificate of Completion
