We're looking for Monitor Techs to join our growing team! In this fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for monitoring, detecting and accurately recording heart rhythm patterns. From assessing normal and abnormal ECG interval measurements, to proper and improper pacemaker rhythms, to implantable defibrillator function, you will be integral to the high level of care we provide our patients. Responsibilities:In your role, you will:
Education
High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
Successful completion of a Basic Arrhythmia Recognition or ECG/EKG interpretation course required
Experience
1 year of Unit Clerk experience preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology and computer experience preferred
Licenses and Certifications
BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
CHS HealthStream Course
ECG - ECG Rhythm Exam Non-Clinical (Administered by CHS) required within 30 days of hire or transfer into position
Incumbents in this position prior to October 4, 2019 are grandfathered with their existing qualifications
