Job Description

Spherion Staffing has a full-time Office/HR Coordinator position available in Fargo, ND. The Office/HR Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of office functions and supporting HR processes. This role includes administrative tasks, employee support, office management, and assisting with HR-related activities such as recruitment, onboarding, and policy enforcement. The position also will interview prospective staff, organize training, coordinate meetings, supervise personnel and work on schedules for all employees.
The individual must be flexible, listen and work effectively with other people. This person will also serve as an assistant to the company's leader.

Pay $18-20/hour DOE

Responsibilities:
-Answer telephones, route call, take messages, and provide general information; greet and direct visitors; answer routine inquiries; maintain log of inquiries as required
-Meet with the manager or supervisors on a weekly basis
-Check schedules to make sure that there is coverage for every home that we serve
-Conduct supervisory visits to our clients/build relationship with our clients
-Open and route incoming mail; distribute correspondence and other materials to staff
-Help prepare and coordinate training for all our staff
-Establish, maintain, process, and/or update files, records, and/or other documents
-Conduct personnel file audit
-May schedule or assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and/or conferences
-Assist with HR related work along with the Manager or Alternate Administrator
-Coordinate employee incentive program

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:

Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in human resources management or High School Diploma or GED with at least 1 year experience
-3 years of relevant experience in an office environment, preferably in an administrative position
-Flexibility and the capacity to prioritize new tasks.
-Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
-Excellent writing skills including spelling, grammar, and punctuation
-Ability to work independently.
-Excellent time management skills
-Self-organization
-Customer service skills
-Exceptional attention to detail
-Proficient computer skills (QuickBooks, email, Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Spreadsheets, etc.)
