Summary: Seeking a Packaging Engineer with experience in consumer goods packaging, specification data management, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in packaging engineering
  • BS Degree in Package Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Engineering sciences
  • Experience with primary through tertiary packaging development
  • Working knowledge of different packaging materials and converting methods
  • Specification data management and packaging materials knowledge
  • Awareness of EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) requirements
  • Experience with sustainability

• Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with consumer goods packaging
  • Familiarity with companies like Edgewell, Unilever, Kenvue, Loreal, Mondelez, Colgate, Nestle, Campbells Soup, Schick

• Responsibilities:

  • Develop and qualify new package designs and materials
  • Create and manage component specifications
  • Ensure compliance with upcoming regulatory requirements
  • Run packaging trials and write up specifications
  • Work with existing packaging formats to ensure regulatory compliance

Pay Details: $50.00 to $60.00 per hour
