Job Description:
We are seeking a Privacy Compliance Specialist to join our team, responsible for enhancing and ensuring privacy compliance within Walmart's Customer Data Platform (CDP). The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Digital Citizenship, and Technology, to assess privacy controls, develop processes, and implement best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Privacy Compliance Evaluation: Assess and improve privacy by design controls in the CDP, ensuring alignment with state and international laws.
2. DSAR Orchestration: Develop and execute Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) processes, ensuring legal compliance and workflow integration.
3. Inactive Customer Data & Auto purge: Collaborate on policies and automation for managing inactive customer data, including auto-deletion processes.
4. Privacy Assessments: Conduct privacy impact assessments for new and existing products to evaluate risks and implement appropriate controls.
5. Clearing Obstacles: Identify and resolve compliance challenges across teams, addressing ambiguities and technical issues.
6. Requirements Clarification: Gather and refine technical requirements for privacy initiatives, providing clear direction for stakeholders.
7. Prioritization Assistance: Contribute to the prioritization of privacy compliance initiatives to align with business goals and regulatory deadlines.
Deliverables:
- Regular updates on privacy compliance efforts.
- Documentation of current state evaluations and identified gaps.
- Recommendations for DSAR orchestration and auto purge enhancements.
- Progress reports on privacy impact assessments.
- Requirements documentation for prioritized initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of privacy laws and regulations.
- Experience with data protection and privacy compliance.
- Strong privacy tech and application implementation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Required skillsets or tools:
-Privacy Compliance Evaluation - Knowledge of privacy laws and assessment of controls.
-DSAR Orchestration - Understanding of Data Subject Access Request processes and legal alignment.
-Data Management - Experience with inactive customer data policies and automation.
-Privacy Assessments - Conducting privacy impact assessments and risk evaluation.
