Job Description Salary: Details to be provided. Summary: Esposito Construction is seeking an experienced, self-motivated Project Manager. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in utility pipe construction processes, including managing utility crews and supervising daily activities involving water main, sewer main, and storm sewer installations. Responsibilities include scheduling, resource management, job cost control, and quality assurance to maintain project budgets. The candidate must demonstrate strong leadership, effective communication, and project management skills to continue the company's success. Flexible pay based on experience. Supplemental Pay: Performance-based bonuses. Retention plans. Responsibilities: Create job schedules and coordinate with subcontractors. Assist with material take-offs and ordering. Lead pre-construction, project, and staff meetings. Assess design requirements, material lists, and field productivity. Understand project specifications and proposal details. Facilitate smooth project operations through effective people skills. Oversee multiple crews installing underground utilities on heavy civil projects. Prioritize safety at all times. Provide on-site supervision and direction to foremen. Review project plans and specifications. Adjust work sequences to meet schedules, considering equipment and personnel capacities. Analyze daily reports and resolve issues proactively. Explain and oversee survey and grade staking (Lasers, Transits, GPS). Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years as a pipe foreman and 5 years as a superintendent in civil utility construction. OSHA 30 certification and competent person certification required. Ability to operate heavy equipment and hold a valid DOT Medical Certificate. Capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions. Proficient with tools and equipment, including power and non-power tools. Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, crouch, kneel, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs. Positive attitude with excellent motivational skills. Strong time management, multitasking, and prioritization skills. Attention to detail and ability to recognize discrepancies. Effective communication and organizational skills. Computer literacy and ability to interpret design drawings. Ability to plan ahead and communicate positively with all stakeholders. Experience managing multiple crews of tradesmen and laborers. Fluent knowledge of sewer main and lift station installation and deep trench excavation. Understanding of line and grade, capable of operating transit, pipe laser, and other instruments. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook. Bachelor's degree preferred.
