Job Summary:

The Purchasing Assistant plays a key role in supporting the hospital's inventory and purchasing functions. This position is responsible for preparing and submitting purchase orders, monitoring and managing inventory levels, and handling orders for repairs, returns, and credits. The role requires working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, as well as strong organizational and communication skills. Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepares and submits Purchase Orders
• Monitoring and evaluating inventory supply levels
• Preparing and processing orders for repairs, returns, and credits
• Assisting with Receiving
• Deliver orders to internal customers
• Assists internal customers with requisitions
• Assists internal customers with product orders
• Mailroom duties
