Quality Engineer

\n Responsibilities: \n

\n\t
• Responsible to facilitate process and procedures to ensure optimum quality during the work flow process, including adherence to AS 9100 standards. \n\t
• Participate in new program Advanced Quality planning for specified customers. \n\t
• This includes technical support for the AQ team and manufacturing. Investigate, problem solve and answer customer quality concerns. \n\t
• Coordinate, and upon conclusion close the problem resolution process. \n\t
• Prepare FAIR/PPAP documentation and other customer correspondence. \n\t
• Review corrective actions, both internal and external to verify resolution. \n\t
• Close upon verified completion. \n\t
• Train, guide and develop Quality Department staff in quality standards and methodology, including but not limited to proper sample submission and customer quality requirements.\n\t
• Act on behalf of the Director of Quality as needed. \n\t
• Travel to customer or vendor locations. \n\t
• Performs essential duties of other Quality Department team members as needed.\n\t
• Comply with all PAC policy. \n\t
• AS 9100 standards documented by yearly vision exams. \n\t
• Able to stand, sit/or ambulate across the production space. \n\t
• Successful completion of a medical exam and drug screening required prior to employment at PAC. \n

\n Requirements: \n\n

\n\t
• 4 Year Degree in a Quality, Engineering or other Technology related program. \n\t
• ASQ CQE certification preferred. \n\t
• 5 years successful prior essential duty related experience in aerospace quality engineering. \n\t
• Experience in an aerospace precision machining environment preferred. \n\t
• Specific knowledge of quality theory, systems, operations and methods. \n\t
• This includes statistical process control, capability studies, gaging methods and GD&T. \n\t
• Specific knowledge of AS 9100 standards. \n\t
• Communication skills to customer contact standards. \n\t
• Ability to read/write English\n\t
• Ability to perform advanced math functions. \n\t
• Excellent computer skills. 10. Valid driver s license. \n\t
• Eligibility to work with sensitive controlled data and materials according to ITARs policy and practice. \n
