Job Description

Are you the kind of person who believes that preparation is the key to success-and who takes pride in doing things right the first time?

We're looking for a Real Estate Assistant with at least two years of experience and an active MN real estate license to support top-producing RE/MAX Broker Peter Dokken in Rochester. This role is perfect for someone who thrives behind the scenes-bringing order to the chaos, taking ownership of their work, and delivering white-glove service with every client interaction.

If you're proactive, organized, and looking for a role where you can make an impact while growing professionally, this could be your next great move!

Your Future Employer

Peter Dokken , a top-producing RE/MAX Broker in Rochester, is known for delivering a client-first experience backed by deep local expertise and strong market knowledge. His business is built on relationships, and he's committed to cultivating a work culture that improves lives-both for clients and for the people he works with.

We Know You

You're calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and always two steps ahead. With a strong grasp of real estate operations, you confidently handle everything from listing prep and transaction coordination to calendar management and client communication. You're the person people trust to get it done-and get it done right.

You're naturally organized, a clear communicator, and comfortable working with a variety of personalities. You bring a thoughtful, professional energy to everything you do, and you're the first to spot a problem-and solve it-before anyone else even notices.

Above all, you take ownership. You don't wait to be asked. You see what needs to be done, and you do it-with care, consistency, and pride.

Applicants seeking this opportunity as a stepping stone into sales - this isn't the job for you. This is a long-term operational role where you'll play a key part in the success of a top-producing real estate team.

What You'll Do

In this role, your reliability, integrity, and attention to detail will make a real difference. You tackle challenges head-on and clear the path so your Broker can focus on building relationships and closing deals.

You'll do a little of everything, including but not limited to:

  • Prepare for listing appointments and manage pre-market prep

  • Coordinate showings, open houses, and vendor schedules

  • Support buyers from onboarding to closing

  • Collaborate with the transaction coordinator, lenders, title companies, and clients

Marketing & Event Planning You'll take charge of the team's marketing efforts-including:

  • Managing a marketing calendar

  • Supporting listing promotion

  • Keeping the team's online presence current

  • Helping plan and coordinate community events

You don't have to be a marketing expert-but a basic understanding of marketing will go a long way. You'll work with third-party vendors and professionals as needed to keep things on brand, on time, and running smoothly.
