Job Description

We're looking for a registered dental hygienist to join our growing team! You’ll complete initial patient screenings, conduct dental cleanings, and assist dentists with examinations and procedures. Job seekers should have incredible customer service skills and a passion for providing excellent dental services. • Clean dental instruments to ensure everything is sterilized properly
• Provide post-operative health education to patients so they can take practice good dental care at home after procedures
• Identify dental issues such as periodontitis, gingivitis, or cavities so they can be treated as soon as possible
• Assist dentists with determining the best treatment plan for all kinds of dental diseases
• Explain good oral hygiene techniques to patients of all ages, such as thorough brushing and flossing twice daily

Qualifications:

• Valid CPR certification
• In-depth knowledge of dental safety regulations and HIPAA regulations
• Physical stamina to stand for up to 8 hours at a time
• Associate’s degree and certification in dental hygiene program required, higher levels of education are highly valued
• Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills
