Job Description

As the Academic and Industry Program Specialist, you will be supporting and independently leading efforts to ensure DCAs partnerships across Dental Trade Organizations, Dental Schools and Specialty Residencies, Dental Associations and Industry Conferences under the supervision of the Program Director. In this role you will support efforts to develop and maintain relationships with faculty and students and deliver on candidates for critical roles as Dental Care Alliance expands patient access. This role is indirectly accountable for new graduate hire metrics, supporting events and efforts to establish leads and delivering on top and bottom of funnel hires of clinical professionals. In this role you will also establish a recognizable brand for DCA and local Affiliate Brands in and throughout the Dental Industry.

Act as a DCA partner and brand ambassador at; schools, specialty residency programs, and events by managing internal and external relationships with target; trade organizations, specialty residencies, program directors and student organizations, as well as, supporting our targeted regions

Supporting DCA provider recruitment strategies by building and maintaining relationships at key hygiene and dental schools and maintaining a pipeline of engaged student leads and program directors

Maintain and follow-up with new and existing students and program directors, while fostering a talent pipeline in collaboration with the assigned recruiter for the region and specialty

Support the internal project management and execution of the University Relations guidelines for relationship development with students and schools

Manage and support the leadership of hosts for all events for selected schools and conferences; selecting venues, organizing catering, and any other details related to the event

Support the development and established collaborations with local and national clinical leaders across DCA for the purpose of aligning didactic lectures, attendance at events, and conferences

Collaborating and executing with University Relations Coordinators to manage calendars, invites, collateral, branding, and documents

Support management, facilitation, and execution of school events, including venue negotiations, catering, equipment, room set-up, presentation material accordingly with speaker and all communications

Support and at times in collaboration with Program Director educate internal leaders on how to properly align and present to; students, faculty, program directors on DCA model and value proposition

Support engagement of key players at clinical schools with discussions around initiatives related to joint ventures in new trainings and collaborating with clinical leadership

Generate student contacts and leads from all events using applicant tracking systems, CRM & ATS, and other lead capture tools as appropriate

Under direction of Program Director support and run targeted campaigns to candidate leads using the CRM to align with enterprise hiring needs

Follow-up with leads in collaboration with Program Director, working closely and cohesively with the Talent Acquisition team to execute hires of critical Dentists and Specialists

Responsible for supporting and maintaining data integrity of leads generated from programs under purview

This job operates in a professional office environment and can be performed working from home. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This is a road warrior role, travel average is 50% annually, during peak graduation season travel can encompass up to 100%

Significant travel requirements, ability to travel up to 100% of the time via various modes of travel.

This position requires the ability to occasionally lift products and supplies, in excess of 20lbs.

2+ years of professional and/or military experience

Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, ability to support many different projects simultaneously and prioritize results

Highly professional and presentable, experience working with Doctors in a professional of scholastic environment is preferred

Passionate about process and attention to detail

Excellent time management, organization, and communications skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint and willingness to learn various event platforms
