Mattie s at Green Pastures is looking fora professional, polished, and experienced manager. This person is educated, organized, can train and teach staff, and also possesses a good sense of humor! Resy, Toast POS, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office knowledge required.

Qualifications:

• Four year college degree or other accredited education needed
• At least three years experience in upscale dining and event management
• Ready to get things done. Has direct, efficient demeanor
• Can genuinely interact with all team members and build constructive relationships with guests
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment while maintaining positivity and appearing calm
• Owns a hospitable, approachable demeanor combined with ability to execute services using elevated service standards, clean work habits and a thorough eye for detail
• Must have proficient verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Directing the flow of services
• Ensuring guest satisfaction while managing the dining rooms
• Interviewing, hiring, and supervising staff
• Overseeing training schedules, tests, and progression
• Evaluating, rewarding, and disciplining staff
• Leading, motivating, training and educating all FOH personnel in our policies and procedures
• Ensuring proper coverage depending on business volumes for each area of the restaurant during shift
• Effectively supervising floor staff to ensure professional service and guest satisfaction during hours of operation
• Educating FOH personnel in product awareness and cultivate long-term service knowledge
• Responsible for accurately reporting bi-weekly payroll and for the end-of-night closeout and drops
• Maintaining constant communication with accounting department to ensure proper reporting and classifications
• Maintaining the POS system with accurate items and prices
• Working closely with and helping to continually develop the skills of staff
• Handling e-reservations/guest email correspondence
• Inventory service-ware and sourcing costs
• Office supply oversight
