Job Summary: The Roofer II performs skilled work at the journeyman level in the installation, maintenance, and repair of roofs of various types. Locates and repairs leaks. Repairs or installs roofs on new or old structures. May train and provide work leadership to entry level roofers. Drives from site to site.

Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and four (4) years of commercial roofing applications experience. Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: A high school education or GED and a minimum of four years journeyman level experience with a variety of commercial roofing applications. Must be able to interprets plans and makes estimates or required materials. Must be able to lift, handle and maneuver the tools, materials and supplies of the job.(up to 100 pounds. Must be able to perform those items in the Job Summary and in Job Dutiews. Must have the ability to use job-related tools and equipment and chemical supplies.
Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies.
