We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager for our thriving Manufacturing division. This role is pivotal to the success of our business and offers a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to the right candidate. The successful applicant will have a proven track record in sales within the manufacturing industry, specifically with a focus on plastics, aluminum, machine shop, metal, glass, ceramic, injection molding, molding, composite, and rubber.

Responsibilities

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our Manufacturing division. Key responsibilities include:

1. Developing and implementing strategic sales plans that expand the customer base and ensure the company's strong market presence.
2. Managing a sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
3. Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
4. Partnering with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
5. Effectively communicating the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
6. Understanding category-specific landscapes and trends, reporting on the forces that shift strategic markets.
7. Developing a deep knowledge of our products and services, and how they serve our customers' needs.
8. Collaborating with the production team to ensure customer requirements are met.
9. Negotiating contracts and closing agreements to maximize profits.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales role within the manufacturing industry, with a strong focus on plastics, aluminum, machine shop, metal, glass, ceramic, injection molding, molding, composite, and rubber.
2. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
3. Demonstrable experience in negotiating and meeting clients' requirements.
4. In-depth understanding of the manufacturing industry and its current events.
5. Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
6. Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services and how they create value for clients.
7. Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
8. Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
9. Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity.
10. Ability to prioritize among competing tasks.
