Interested in leading the Email Marketing strategy for Amazon Credit Cards? The North America Payment Products Marketing team is looking for a customer obsessed email marketing expert who will define and lead the email marketing strategy to drive engagement, usage and awareness of key benefits and product features for existing cardmembers. You will build and scale the email marketing strategy for our credit card portfolio, defining requirements for design, implementation and launch of strategic email campaigns. You will create the frameworks to scale campaign analysis, synthesize learning, make decisions and prioritize our email marketing roadmap using a data-driven approach. You will partner with cross functional teams in Product, Design, Tech, Data Science, Finance and Legal to deliver a comprehensive roadmap for email marketing initiatives and enforce a high bar for email communications to improve customer experience. This role requires deep understanding of customer needs, business trends, product features, and the ability to deliver results while balancing conflicting priorities.

Key job responsibilities

Develop email marketing strategy for Amazon credit cards including targeting and messaging strategy

Execute tests, analyze results, and recommend improvements in performance

Identify opportunities for testing, personalizing, launching new lifecycle campaigns to drive business performance

Partner with design team to implement bar-raising email experiences that align with brand guidelines

Drive email marketing operation improvements with automation, standardization and collaboration with stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
  • Experience owning and driving email marketing strategy
  • Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
  • Experience managing external partners to develop marketing programs

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
