A Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed for a full-year contract serving a pediatric outpatient clinic within a K-12 school setting in Tavernier, FL. This role offers a supportive work environment with an excellent staff and a focus on outpatient school-aged children. The caseload primarily includes children ages 2 to 18 with mild to moderate communication disorders, including pragmatic language challenges, receptive and expressive language delays, reading and writing difficulties, articulation issues, and support for high-functioning autism. There are no medically fragile patients, and the position requires no travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to pediatric clients in an outpatient school-based setting
• Deliver individualized therapy focusing on pragmatic language, articulation, receptive and expressive skills, literacy, and social communication
• Collaborate with speech-language pathologists and other educational professionals to implement treatment plans
• Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports
• Manage a consistent caseload with a schedule of one child per hour and a dedicated 1-hour lunch break
• Support children across a broad age range (2-18 years) with a variety of mild to moderate language disorders

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid SLPA certification for both school and healthcare settings
• Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in speech and language interventions
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
