Position Overview:
We are expanding our Addiction Treatment Program (ATP) to provide intensive substance abuse treatment services within the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC). This program will include comprehensive case management and aftercare services for clients upon release. To support this initiative, the Wellness Equity Alliance (WEA) is hiring a team of skilled professionals, including Community Health Workers (CHWs), Certified Peer Support Workers (CPSWs), Licensed Substance Abuse Associates (LSAAs), and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors (LADACs).
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual with strong managerial skills to lead the field operations of our mobile behavioral health clinic team. In this role, you will manage a diverse team of CHWs and CPSWs focused on delivering equitable healthcare services to underserved communities, including those who are formerly incarcerated or court-ordered. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a supportive and accessible healthcare environment within correctional facilities and the broader community while providing essential behavioral health and substance use services.

Substance Abuse Counselor/Certified Peer Support Worker (CPSW)/Community Health Worker (CHW) Role:This position plays a pivotal role in transforming care for those impacted by the criminal justice system, driving equity, and fostering positive outcomes in behavioral health and substance use treatment.

This may include but is not limited to, knowledge related to mental health conditions, substance use, homelessness, foster care, incarceration, military service, disability, domestic or intimate partner violence, or shared cultural, linguistic, or community backgrounds.
