The Professional Womens Hockey League is seeking an experienced and passionate Team Video Production Manager for PWHL Seattle . The role involves creating compelling visual content that showcases PWHL Seattles brand and athletes through video storytelling across all channels. From ideation to delivery, this position leads the production process, bringing complex ideas to life through captivating storytelling. The role requires a keen visual eye, technical expertise, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines. The Team Video Production Manager reports to the Director of Team Business Operations and collaborates with the leagues Director, Video and Production, as well as the Brand and Marketing team, to drive storytelling and engaging content aligned with the PWHLs brand and team objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities



  1. Ideate, produce, shoot, edit, and deliver video content including features, highlights, interviews, promotions, advertisements, and other on-demand content optimized for social media, broadcast, website, app, and in-stadium platforms.

  2. Work closely with game presentation and brand teams to create compelling video content that enhances the in-venue fan experience and elevates brand storytelling.

  3. Produce unique and engaging video content for team and league partners, adhering to messaging and objectives to create value for all stakeholders.

  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate video content into broader marketing campaigns, including promotions for tickets, theme nights, key games, and events.

  5. Attend games, practices, community events, and other appearances as needed.

  6. Shoot and edit game content, highlights, and post-game press conferences on-site during all games and events.

  7. Lead on-site shoots, including scheduling, location scouting, production, and post-production.

  8. Create video content that engages fans, reflects the brand, and adheres to standards.

  9. Utilize storytelling techniques to create visual narratives that resonate with audiences.

  10. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in video production and storytelling, applying insights to improve creative output.

  11. Assist in media day activities.

  12. Design and create motion graphics as needed.

  13. Provide sound design and color correction for all work.

  14. Manage logging and archiving of video content.

  15. Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications



  1. 2-5 years of experience in video production with a strong portfolio.

  2. At least 2 years of shoot and editing experience on sports-related projects for digital platforms.

  3. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.

  4. Strong grasp of non-linear editing techniques and visual trends for social/digital platforms.

  5. Understanding of basic video production equipment.

  6. Motion graphics skills are a plus.

  7. Experience with 3D modeling and animation is a plus.

  8. Proficiency with computers and MS Office.

  9. Availability to work all home games, practices, and events, and to travel for away games if required.

  10. Ability to work from mid-November onward for training camp.

Salary: $60,000-$70,000 USD DOE
