Base pay range $70,000.00/yr - $71,292.00/yr About MOCS The Mayor's Office of Contract Services (MOCS) is a New York City oversight and service agency managing citywide procurement, from planning and issuing solicitations to vendor payments. It procures billions annually from diverse vendors, ensuring a fair, transparent, and efficient process. MOCS leverages technology, enhances transparency, and partners with stakeholders to improve procurement operations. The MOCS Director acts as the City’s Chief Procurement Officer. The team operates collaboratively within a service-focused environment. The Web Designer, part of the Communications unit within the Change Office, reports to the Communications Director. Responsibilities include managing tasks, producing quality work, collaborating on projects, maintaining data, and engaging with external stakeholders. Responsibilities Strategize, execute, oversee, evaluate, and enhance MOCS’ websites. Assist in website redesigns, ensuring alignment with branding and standards. Resolve website issues and perform content audits. Support development of learning materials and media resources. Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and accessibility standards. Collaborate on digital initiatives and maintain trackers and SharePoint sites. Preferred Skills Degree in Communications, Web Design, Graphic Design, or related field. Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, and collaborate effectively. Clear communication skills, simplifying complex information. Experience uploading/updating web content, troubleshooting, and analytics knowledge. Proficiency in HTML/CSS, XML, MS Office; HTML5 programming is a plus.
