DESCRIPTION
Would you like to help build the AWS Cloud Computing business for the US Air Force? Would you like to be part of a team focused on cloud transformation and adoption of Amazon Web Services by engaging with key USAF customers, system integrators and solution providers who are reinventing their IT strategy by adopting and delivering cloud computing solutions?
As a Sales Executive for AWS, you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape enterprise solutions and deliver on a strategy to build mind share and broad use of Amazon’s purpose built computing, storage, AI/ML, DevOps, security, database, etc. to help drive efficiency and digital transformation.
In this role, you will:
- Develop a growing book of business in the USAF as part of the USAF sales team.
- Drive business and technical relationships and close business by helping to define, identify, and pursue key opportunities.
- Establish deep business and technical relationships through your knowledge of the customer’s mission and the environment.
- Interact day-to-day with your USAF customers.
- Need a business background that enables you to drive an engagement and interact at senior military and civilian levels.
- Need a technical background that enables you to easily interact with staff officers, contracting officials, software developers, and architects.
- Need experience thinking strategically about the mission, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions.
- Be able to travel approximately 50% of the time.
- Need to have an active DoD or IC clearance at the secret level at a minimum.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of full sales cycle, technology sales or equivalent business development, sales engineering/consulting or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
