Tennis Channel and our growing portfolio of products, including streaming apps, FAST channels, Tennis.com, and Pickleballtv, are seeking a Creative Director to unify, inspire, and transform our creative capabilities across platforms. This role is responsible for building a new Creative Services department that emphasizes design excellence, operational efficiency, and impactful storytelling across all touchpoints.

We are looking for a visionary creative leader with a sharp design eye, operational expertise, and over 20 years of experience in innovative visual storytelling. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and managing high-performing Creative Services teams, streamlining workflows, and shaping the visual identity of media brands across linear, digital, and streaming platforms.

The Creative Director will be based in our Santa Monica, CA, office.

In this role, you will:

  1. Lead the Vision: Build and lead a Creative Services team, unifying graphic designers and motion graphic artists under one operational structure.
  2. Centralize Creative Operations: Establish streamlined workflows and asset management systems to handle requests across our network, streaming apps, FAST channels, social platforms, websites, and news content.
  3. Re-Org for Efficiency: Assess, reorganize, and optimize the department based on team strengths and company goals. Develop scalable operations that eliminate redundancies and ensure high-quality, timely deliverables.
  4. Department Collaboration: Act as the creative liaison across departments—marketing, production, direct-to-consumer, editorial, social—to ensure visual cohesion.
  5. Oversee Volume: Manage daily creative requests, including graphics, marketing assets, and broadcast packages, maintaining consistency and quality.
  6. Be a Thought Leader: Shape the brand's future with innovative design, visual identity systems, and operational strategies to keep us ahead.

Required Qualifications:

  • 20+ years of creative leadership experience, with a successful record managing high-performing teams in fast-paced sports and media environments.
  • Expertise in leading Creative Services teams supporting broadcast, streaming, social, digital, and marketing deliverables.
  • Experience overseeing graphic design, motion graphics, branding, and multi-platform content production.
  • Proficient in creative operations and systems, including media asset management and workflows.
  • Strong strategic and operational skills, capable of managing complex projects creatively and efficiently.
  • Collaborative leadership style, thriving in cross-functional environments and balancing creativity with business needs.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage timelines, prioritize, and deliver under deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Graphic Design, Creative Arts, or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of tennis and an interest in pickleball are preferred.

The salary range is $175,000 to $200,000, with final compensation based on experience, skills, and location. Benefits include retirement plans, insurance, health and dental coverage, paid time off, parental leave, and stock plans.
