About the Opportunity

OKX is seeking a seasoned Director of Email Marketing to lead our Lifecycle and CRM initiatives across the Americas. This individual will define and execute email strategy within Global Marketing, in alignment with broader business objectives, to support market expansion and engagement in a complex and fast-paced environment.

As a leader, you’ll be responsible for driving innovation in lifecycle marketing, developing a regionally relevant yet globally aligned messaging strategy, and leading a team in the execution of high-impact campaigns. You will partner cross-functionally with product, brand, and regional teams to shape how OKX engages millions of users.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead Americas Email & CRM Strategy: Define and own the email marketing vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Americas, aligned with global lifecycle goals and tailored to local market needs.

Drive Lifecycle Innovation: Evolve our CRM capabilities to deliver personalized, data-driven lifecycle journeys that increase user activation, retention, and LTV across all key Americas markets.

Executive Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a senior point of contact for regional leadership, acting as a strategic advisor to ensure marketing initiatives support local needs.

Campaign & Program Ownership: Oversee the planning and execution of multi-channel lifecycle programs including onboarding, re-engagement, retention, and cross-sell efforts.

Creative & Editorial Oversight: Champion high-quality storytelling and messaging excellence across all lifecycle programs. Ensure consistency in voice, tone, and localization

Operational Leadership: Build and mentor a team of lifecycle marketers and CRM specialists; drive operational excellence, scalability, and adoption of best practices.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a strategic partner to product marketing, regional business units, analytics, and design teams to deliver cohesive, customer-centric experiences.

Performance Management: Develop robust testing strategies and KPIs to optimize impact. Use data to continuously refine content, targeting, segmentation, and timing.

What We Look For In You

15+ years of progressive experience in Email Marketing, CRM, or Lifecycle, ideally in fintech, crypto, or financial services

Demonstrated success in building and scaling CRM strategies in high-growth, fast-paced environments

Deep expertise in customer segmentation, marketing automation, and personalization

Proven track record leading cross-functional teams and large-scale programs with regional and global stakeholders

Strong understanding of CEFI and DeFi, with experience marketing within the crypto or exchange landscape

Exceptional storytelling and communication skills – both written and verbal – with a clear ability to articulate strategy to executive leadership

Experience managing internal and external creative teams, with a commitment to high-quality campaign execution

Analytical mindset with a data-first approach to decision-making; familiarity with tools like Braze, Salesforce, Iterable, or similar CRM platforms

The salary range for this position is $171,000 - $300,000

The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
