Job Description

One of our Automotive client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Test Engineer to join our team in Kokomo, IN . In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products by leading and executing rigorous testing procedures.

• Leading teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with product designs, processes, and applications.
• Owning and maintaining control plans.
• Employing advanced problem-solving skills to address production and quality issues.
• Coordinating and scheduling special builds and change notices.
• Conducting risk assessments for change notices and special builds.
• Leading quality and customer safety initiatives.
• Providing technical direction to employees on root cause analysis and issue resolution.
• Creating and maintaining repair procedures.
• Interpreting engineering designs and specifications.
• Developing FAT torques for new models and reviewing audit results.
• Supporting corporate quality objectives and communicating customer demands.
• Providing guidance on engine component inspections and reviews.
• Reviewing Torque Audit data for conformity and trend analysis.
• Providing direction on dyno failures and quality containments.
• Authorizing allowable repairs and writing procedures.
• Approving SWI and proper EMP use for quality control and assurance.

• Required:
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or design/release engineering.
• Valid driver's license.
• 100% Onsite availability.
