Position: Grocery Stocker

Location: Allen Street Grocery Outlet

Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

Job Overview:

The Grocery Stocker is responsible for ensuring that grocery shelves are fully stocked, organized, and properly labeled. This position involves stocking shelves, rotating products, Merchandising inventory. assisting customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Responsibilities:

• Restock grocery shelves with products, ensuring shelves are neat, organized, and well-stocked.
• Rotate products to ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) stock rotation to maintain product quality and freshness.
• Assist in setting up product displays, promotions, and seasonal displays.
• Assist customers in locating products and answering inquiries about items in the store.
• Maintain clean and safe aisles by ensuring products are neatly arranged and any spills or debris are cleaned up immediately.
• Unload deliveries and help with organizing and storing incoming products in the backroom.
• Keep track of expired products and remove them from shelves as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness and ensure that all stockrooms and aisles are orderly.
• Follow safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and equipment handling.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous experience in stocking or retail (2 Years Required)
• Previous Merchandising Experience (2 Years Required)
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and stand for long periods of time.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and customer service attitude.
• Basic knowledge of grocery products and store layout (training provided).
